St George D'Ibry Vineyard
St George D'Irby vineyard is on the Cote de Thonges, in the South West of France. The joy of the Languadoc is that it is HOT. It's not far from Corbiere and the wines here share some of characteristics - full, rich and wonderfully easy to drink. Michel and Marianne Cros have been producing wine here for longer than we can remember. We love spending time with them because they are so passionate about their wines. Every year he tries something new - he loves it, he absolutely loves it!
Find out more about the wonderful wines produced at the St George d'Ibry vineyard or my blog post for more about our latest visit.
If you want to try Michel and Marianne's wines, we would recommend:
- Viognier: this is amazingly popular in the shop. I sell a pallet a week during the summer months and customers keep coming back for more.
- L'Ame Des Pins: its lovely . . . a bordeaux blend with Cab Sav and Merlot. Brilliant value for money.
